Susan S. Stocker is Special Counsel to the Law Offices of Alan B. Zublatt. Ms. Stocker completed her undergraduate education at Rutgers College at Rutgers University, receiving a B.A. in English with High Honors. She earned her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law, where, upon her graduation, she became an instructor there and taught legal writing and analysis.
Ms. Stocker has worked as an attorney in the Central Appellate
Research Department of the Appellate Division, State of New
Jersey. In that capacity, she drafted bench memoranda incorporating
extensive written legal analyses of cases on appeal, several
of which were incorporated into published decisions. Her case
experience includes municipal zoning and land use, product
liability, criminal and commercial contract law.
Ms. Stocker has served as a law assistant to Justices of the Manhattan Supreme Court, where she researched and wrote draft decisions for pretrial motions in all areas of civil practice. Many of the cases Ms. Stocker worked on were widely published, including a landmark decision that received extensive media attention.
She is admitted to the State Bars of New Jersey and New York as well as being admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.
